PAM Technical Specialist

Our client seeks a CyberArk Technical Specialist to be embedded in the Privileged Access Management project. Working within the Identity Management team, you will play a pivotal role in the technical implementation of PAM. Delivering privileged access management across the department using the CyberArk privileged access product suite

About the role

  • Hands-on experience in Implementation, Upgrade, Configuration and Administration of Cyber-Ark privileged access product suite within large businesses with high levels of complexity.

  • Experience with supporting enterprise-scale projects, including in the area of Privileged Access Management or Identity and Access Management.
  • Experience identifying the impacts on Business Processes and defining the improvement opportunities through the discovery, analysis, and documentation of current and future state processes.
  • Experience in preparing Technical Documentation such as Runbooks, Service Improvement Plans, Implementation plans, Test plans, and Rollback plans.
  • Desirable to have experience in implementing controls to meet the ACSC Essential 8 maturity Model.
  • Experience implementing SaaS Applications in a hybrid, complex environment.
  • Experience in engaging with the Business in defining their needs and providing direction about the appropriate approach to addressing them.



General Accountabilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert and engage with our Information Security partners to meet the above objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with a third party vendor and drive outcomes for the CyberArk solution build/configuration services.
  • Configure, maintain & support the CyberArk SAAS environments & other PAM components.
  • Working with the Project Manager, managing several stakeholders across the corporate and operational environment.
  • Deliver approved projects/work efforts to the agreed schedule, to the standard required by the IT Project Framework process, and to the business customer's satisfaction. This may include:
    • Defining and documenting scope,
    • Managing stakeholder expectations through effective communications,
    • Ensuring sufficient testing is performed in conjunction with the QA team to confirm that the solution is fit for purpose,
    • Managing the production deployment and handover to BAU/support
  • Develop, publish and maintain solution documentation to a high standard, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
