A leading education company is currently looking for an additional Network Security Engineer for a 1 year contract, based in South Eastern Melbourne.

​

This is a newly created role with lots of scope, part of a small internal security team, great team culture, with planned growth over the next year.

The role will be split between projects and BAU work.

​

Responsibilities:

• Engineer, implement, monitor and improve the security posture of the companies network & endpoint security infrastructure.

• Design and document detailed security infrastructure architecture

• Ensure cyber security incidents are managed and communicated across the stakeholders

Key Skills / Experience

• Strong Network Security Engineering experience

• Cisco router and switching background

• Very strong experience in configuring/maintaining Security infrastructure/appliances, including Next-Generation Firewalls (i.e.: Palo Alto), intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.

• Experience in configuring or maintaining Web Application Firewalls (WAF)

• Cloud Experience (AWS or GCP)
