The Opportunity

This prominent solution provider is looking for a Network Engineer to help support their growing list of exciting clients while further developing your technical abilities through a variety of training opportunities.

​

Working collaboratively with team members you will be responsible for proactively resolving client issues and ensuring smooth operation of their infrastructure. You will be involved in a mixed environment of operational and client project work including remote delivery and onsite work.

​

Your responsibilities will include:

• delivering proactive support services;

• troubleshooting and problem solving of desktop/server and networking systems;

• assist with change and incident management;

• supporting project work such as server installations, migrations, roll outs, office relocation and business networking (this may involve some out of hours technical work);

• writing, maintaining and updating client documentation and an internal wiki;

You will possess:

• Cisco certification (must have a ccna or ccnp);

• Practical hands-on knowledge of Fortinet, Palo Alto and Azure;

• 5+ years of experience deploying and supporting network technologies;

• the skill to deploy wireless networks solutions in remote locations;

• familiarity with virtualization and cloud technologies;

• the ability to work in a team environment;

• the knowledge of troubleshooting methods used to resolve complicated technical and/or non-technical issues;

• attention to detail;

• enthusiasm to consistently deliver exceptional customer service;

• excellent time management skills;

• Cisco Routing and Switching;

• Meraki;

• Palo Alto Firewalls;

• Azure networking stack;

• Check Point;

• F5 Networks.

​

Whilst not essential, a current or recent AGSVA defence clearance would be highly beneficial in this role.
