D365 Performance Tester
Job details
Federal Government client is seeking experienced Manual Testers to join the Case Management Solution Program team. This multi-year program will replace the current customer facing portals with a consolidated client facing portal that allows for a more streamlined and simplified user experience. The program has now commenced and is preparing to move into the delivery phase.
Under the direction of the Test Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for developing and operating a testing framework that supports the delivery of high-quality digital services and products in an agile environment.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Designing, documenting and executing test plans.
- Customer service and communication skills to be able to communicate complex information clearly and succinctly
- Ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Using Jira, Confluence and case management systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, solution architects and product owners to clarify requirements and support successful delivery
- Ability to troubleshoot D365 behaviours, validate data flows and provide clear defect documentation
Criteria
Essential criteria
1. Demonstrated experience in performing comprehensive manual testing across enterprise business applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) environments.
2. Proven capability in delivering System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT) and End to End (E2E) testing for D365 modules, ensuring alignment with business processes, configurations and customisations
3. Hands-On experience testing D365 applications or related modules including validation of workflows, forms, security roles, data migration and custom extensions
4. Experience validating D365 integrations with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, Dataverse, APIs and third-party systems ensuring data accuracy, error handling and end to end flow integrity
5. Demonstrated ability to design, maintain and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, traceability matrixes based on functional, technical and business requirements and commitment to quality assurance best practices.
6. Proven experience using Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for test management, defect tracking, requirement traceability and reporting.
Desirable criteria
1. Basic understanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
2. Familiarity with CI/CD tools - Jenkins, GitHub) for running automated tests
3. Ability to troubleshoot basic automation failures
