Key duties and responsibilities


D365 DYNAMICS DEVELOPER
Software Development - Experience and Demonstrated capability in:

  • Identifying, creating and applying software development and security standards and processes whilst developing, constructing, amending and verifying software components
  • Estimating development time and effort, ensuring appropriate test coverage, documenting software components, applying recovery techniques, implementing change control, and resolving problems and fixing bugs
  • Taking the technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development.
  • Adapting and developing new methods and organisational capabilities, and driving adoption of, and adherence to, policies, standards, guidelines, and methods.
  • Providing effective feedback to encourage development of the individuals and teams responsible for systems and software life cycle working practices.


Specific Software Development Requirements - Extensive Experience in:

  • The Microsoft environment including Microsoft Power Platform, D365, .NET C# (.NET Framework 3.5 through to .Net core), SQL Server, ETL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, JavaScript libraries, PowerShell or VBScript.


Software Design - Experience and Demonstrated capability in:

  • Specifying and designing large or complex software applications, components and modules.
  • Managing and supporting the deployment of the working environment for systems and software life cycle working practices.
  • Leading integration work in line with the agreed system and service design, including assessing risks and taking preventative action.
  • Planning and delivering software configuration activities, including adopting and adapting appropriate software configuration methods, tools and techniques.
  • User interface and experience design (UI/UX), and the adoption of practices to improve user experience.
