IT Test Analyst
Location: ACT
Contract: 12 months
Extensions: 12 months x 2
Security Clearance: Must have Baseline
Duties:
- Prepare, create, maintain, execute, and review test requirements and scripts derived from design analysis. Document test plans according to the department's Test Strategy.
- Identify data requirements for test cases and create and maintain test data.
- Liaise with Business Analysts, System Analysts, Architects, Business Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders to clarify system behavior and business processes. Coordinate UAT with multiple business teams.
- Provide guidance on testing documentation, manage escalated quality issues, and contribute to quality assurance reviews with recommendations for improvements.
- Provide feedback and reports on testing effort estimates and progress for project management, and produce metrics to measure testing quality and progress.
- Work with various testing methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and support Test Manager in developing Test Estimates, Test Schedules, Impact Analysis, and resource coordination.
- Develop, document, monitor, and improve testing processes and procedures, promoting best practices and supporting business improvement strategies and change initiatives.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Tertiary qualification in IT
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certificate
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst
- Experience or knowledge of, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
