We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join a large‑scale digital transformation program within a complex, highly structured organisation.
This is a 100% hands‑on frontend role focused on building modern user experiences in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment, where there is no off‑the‑shelf solution and significant custom development is required.
The opportunity
You'll work on a major platform transformation supporting customer facing systems, with a strong emphasis on:
- Dashboards, experience layers and UI workflows
- Translating existing user‑captured data into clear, usable outputs
- Building and extending custom frontend capabilities at scale
The environment is highly Agile, cloud‑based, and suited to senior engineers who can operate with autonomy while contributing to structured delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Lead frontend development across the full SDLC: design, build, test and release
- Build and maintain high‑quality React‑based applications
- Work closely with technical leads and stakeholders to shape UI solutions
- Interpret complex business requirements and translate them into intuitive interfaces
- Ensure strong standards across code quality, testing, reviews and release practices
- Contribute to technical decision‑making while remaining fully hands‑on
What we're looking for
- Senior‑level Frontend Developer (5+ years' experience)
- Strong commercial experience with React, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
- Experience working in large, enterprise or transformation programs
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous problem spaces
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and backend services
- Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, npm) and testing practices
- Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP or similar preferred)
- Background in fintech or similarly complex domains highly regarded
