Unique opportunity for a Mid-level Front End Developer / Engineer to work on an Australian #1 platform. You will work alongside the Tech lead who is a master on the front end, and responsible for building well known, now multi-million-dollar platforms from scratch. You will be working to improve aspects of the front end of the platform.

Main Skills:

Ideally you will have at least 2/3 years or more commercial experience working as a front-end developer for either a start-up or a product based company where the backend was written in PHP.

Mandatory:

• JavaScript
• HTML 5 + CSS / Less / Sass
• Responsive design
• Templating system (blade, etc.)
• Git, npm / yarn
• Cross-browser and platform development and testing
• Experience with agile development

Knowledge of Tailwind CSS v2, Alpine JS would be a huge bonus!

Nice to have:

• Vue JS version 1 (for legacy code base)
• Experience with front-end optimisation
• Experience with front-end testing
• Understanding of UX
• PHP and experience with a current PHP framework
• Laravel Mix, Laravel 5 (for legacy code base)

This is 100% a front end role however an understanding of the backend PHP is going to give you much more familiarity with the platform.
