Role: Field Engineer /Deployment Technicians - L1 & L2

Location: Newcastle Area

The Role

We're seeking experienced Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale IT hardware refresh across multiple hospital sites in the Newcastle metro area. This is a hands-on role involving device installation, user setup, and equipment removal.

Key Responsibilities

• Unpack and prepare new devices in central storage areas
• Transport devices to user areas and perform installation
• Connect monitors and peripherals (standard and costed configurations)
• Boot up devices and assist users with initial login
• Remove old equipment and return to central storage
• Dispose of packaging materials at designated customer disposal areas

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Level 1/ Level 2 IT support or hardware deployment
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Comfortable with removing and handling IT equipment in clinical environments
• Coordinating daily schedules and reporting progress
• Technicians must be mobile across Newcastle metro
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport preferred
