Our client is seeking an experienced Environment and Release Manager (Part-Time - 3 Days/Week)

Our client, a leader in the utilities sector, is looking for a skilled Environment and Release Manager to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, integrated technology environments and has a strong grasp of release and environment management best practices.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive, technically detailed cutover strategies for major deployments
  • Create and manage execution runbooks for complex technical releases
  • Raise and manage change requests and incidents within ServiceNow; represent change activity at CAB meetings
  • Lead and coordinate hypercare activities following go-live, ensuring stability and support
  • Translate system design documentation into fit-for-purpose test environments, aligned with testing strategies.
  • Act as a liaison to secure end-to-end environment availability, managing dependencies across platforms
  • Apply strong technical knowledge of interfaces to support resolution of environment-related issues

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A background in complex, integrated system environments
  • Experience in utilities or heavy asset centric organisations for example telecommunications.
  • Core systems experience such GE, Small World, GIS SAP and/or Salesforce would be a must.
