DevOps Engineer

Our Federal Government client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with proficiency in Salesforce and Azure to join the Digital Transformation and Delivery Division.

Duties:

• Develop CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using Azure DevOps tools such as Azure pipelines and YAML scripting.
• Utilise infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to configure and manage Salesforce environments (Sandboxes, Development, Production).
• Establish robust version control practices using Git and conduct thorough code reviews of pull requests.
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments and efficient workflows.
• Address and resolve issues to maintain high system availability.
• Stay abreast of the latest DevOps trends and Salesforce functionalities.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or related role.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce DX and Salesforce development tools.
• Deep understanding of Azure DevOps services (Azure, Pipelines, Repos, Boards).
• Expertise in CI/CD principles and automation scripting (YAML, Bash).
• Strong grasp of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts.
• Experience with Git version control and pull request workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
• Previous experience in Government Agencies, especially those supporting the health sector.
