Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of CICD solutions to enhance release efficiency and quality within the Salesforce and MuleSoft platform.
• Collaborate with environment and development leads to establish and prioritise the CICD backlog.
• Develop and enforce best practices for CICD solutions in consultation with key stakeholders.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing CICD processes and incorporate them into the CICD Program backlog.
• Evaluate and select appropriate CICD/DevOps tools.
• Ensure thorough documentation, testing, and, where applicable, reusability of CICD solutions.

Required Skills

• 4 to 5 years of experience in comparable positions.
• Display proven expertise in the creation, maintenance, and monitoring of GitLab build/deployment pipelines.
• Exhibit a track record of delivering CICD automation solutions using Salesforce and MuleSoft, including proficiency in Salesforce-specific development tools (such as changesets, unit testing, and metadata) and utilisation of Salesforce CLI for development and build automation.
• Demonstrate comprehension of the Salesforce Package Development Model, encompassing Vlocity and Omnistudio, as well as familiarity with coding standards specific to the Salesforce ecosystem. Additionally, showcase understanding of containerisation and orchestration technologies like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Illustrate a well-grounded practical understanding of CICD and DevOps processes, backed by hands-on experience with relevant tools.
• Display a high level of competency in programming, including proficiency in supplementary scripting languages like Python.
