Java Developer

Location: ACT

Clearance: Baseline

Contract initial duration: 12 months

Contract extension: 12 months x 3

Duties:

• Enhance Oracle Middleware & Apps through analysis, design, coding, and testing as instructed.
• Document system processes.
• Execute software development tasks and manage change releases.
• Engage with and manage relationships with both business and technical stakeholders as needed.
• Aid in troubleshooting and resolving operational incidents.
• Support regular development tasks for Oracle Middleware applications.
• Contribute to transitioning from SVN to Microsoft DevOps and establishing build pipelines.
• Fill in and support development projects for Oracle Middleware & Apps systems.

Required Skills

• Development of web-based applications, with expertise in:
  • JQuery JavaScript
  • PUser Interface design
• Java/JEE/Oracle:
• Essential: Java / JSF
• Essential: Web Services (REST and SOAP)
• Essential: Oracle Application Developer Framework (ADF)
• Preferably: Oracle DBMS
• Preferably: BI-Publisher
• Highly regarded: Oracle BPEL, BPM
• Highly regarded: BPM / SOA experience
• Highly regarded: Experience with business workflow modeling
• Highly regarded: SOA integration
• Highly regarded: Understanding of Accessibility and WCAG
