Role Description
Cyber security risk consultant is being sought to assist articulating risk and manage the delivery of cyber security risk assessments for programs of work.

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for the below mentioned:

• Undertake ISO 27001 controls gap assessments on proposed solutions and technology engagements.
• Prepare formal threat and risk assessments for projects and solution designs that don't meet baseline security controls.
• Help drive remedial activities and prepare monthly risk posture reports for the Cyber Security Steering committee.
• Collaborate closely with key technical and project SMEs to ensure new design components being recommended meet base enterprise architecture and ICT policy criteria.

The successful candidate must have the following experience to be considered:

• The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a firm understanding and
  experience with assessing cyber risks and completing threat and risk
  assessments.
• Minimum 3 years experience documenting cyber security risk for large organisations.
• In depth knowledge and experience across ISO 31000 and ISO 270001 standards and application.
• Industry certification covering risk management and information security management systems. d
• Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment as the role has high stakeholder engagement.
• Be familiar with the cyber security threat landscape and cyber security countermeasures.
• Ideally the person should have experience across Government utilities and SCADA environment implementations.
• Other cyber security industry certification, either CISSP, SABSA, SANS or similar is an advantage.
