One of our Govermnet Client is looking for a Manages, change and Communication, to join their team on 10 month contract role.

The Manager, Change Management is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of change management activities to support the implementation of key reform initiatives across projects. This role will lead implementation of contemporary and best practice change management and communication strategies, frameworks, and processes to ensure successful transition and embedding of project deliverables, and will require ongoing collaboration with key change management roles associated with other reform projects within the division, and broadly.

In this role you will:

  • Plan and execute change management and communication activities to support implementation of complex projects and reform initiatives being delivered across the division.

  • Develop and implement contemporary and best practice change management methodologies in collaboration with the EPMO, relevant project managers and sponsors, as well as approaches and frameworks which align to the strategic priorities and objectives of the reform agenda.

  • Work collaboratively with project managers, business units, and change champions to socialise, integrate and embed changes associated the projects deliverables.

  • Lead and coordinate the change management resources and activities within the projects to ensure consistency of practice, facilitating the adoption of a single change methodology and improving change outcomes.

  • Work with the Change Manager, E2E Case Management and the project managers of SMART, E2E and the Community Corrections Training Projects to manage the development and implementation of communication and engagement strategies and plans to gather buy-in from, and collaborate with, key stakeholders and partners in the design and delivery of reform projects and initiatives.

  • Provide coaching and capability up-lift to project delivery resources and operational leaders and managers across Community Corrections.

The essential requirements for this role are:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering change management, communication, and engagement strategies within a large scale project/program environment.

  • High level knowledge of contemporary and best practice change management and communication frameworks and methodologies.

  • Understanding of the elements of project management including contemporary change management and business integration processes and strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing consultation strategies, frameworks, and processes.

  • Knowledge of, or ability to, quickly develop a strong understanding of the business changes resulting from the implementation of key strategic projects and reform initiatives and translate them into an effective communication and engagement program of work.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management / change activities, ideally within a justice or human services environment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in the delivery of transformation initiatives across a large and complex public sector organisation.

  • High level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and negotiate with and influence others on sensitive and complex issues.
