Senior SAP Fiori & HTML Development Specialist - EL1 Equivalent
Location: Canberra, ACT
Work Type: Contract - 5 Months (with potential for two 6-month extensions)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Flexible work arrangements considered in line with departmental policy)

Are you a seasoned SAP Fiori and HTML Development Specialist seeking a high-impact role within a dynamic government environment? We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the ERP Technical section within the Service Delivery Office (SDO), supporting the development and enhancement of the Parliamentary Expenses Management System (PEMS).
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative team, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support Fiori/UI5 applications across S/4 HANA and ECC environments.
- Maintain and enhance SAP Fiori architecture and related applications.
- Facilitate Scenario UX workshops and translate business needs into optimised technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain integration plans for current and future process models.
- Create blueprint design documents and implement Fiori solutions, including Launchpad configuration and extension of standard applications.
- Build proof of concepts to validate proposed solutions.
- Identify and implement process improvements with clear solution definitions.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Over 10 years' experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Proficiency in SAPUI5, SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry and Neo), HTML5, REST, and OData protocols.
- Strong JavaScript and CSS skills for multi-browser compatibility.
- Experience implementing standard Fiori applications, including catalogues, groups, and role assignments.
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Gateway Framework and backend OData service integration.
- UI/UX design expertise, particularly with SAPUI5 theme designer.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within a team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Desirable:
- Experience with the Parliamentary Expense Management System (PEMS).
- Previous public sector experience.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse team environments and transfer knowledge to APS personnel.
- Experience with ABAP and Java programming.
