About the Role
This Adelaide based position is part of a centralised Financial services team that provides specialist finance SAP services to all finance operations across the organisation. Reporting to the Financial Systems team, this position administers finance SAP Master Data changes and supports the ongoing efficiency of the SAP 4/Hana system. This position will require you to identify and correct data integrity issues and participate in month end close processes.

The key responsibilities for this position are:

• Validate and update SAP master data (companies, profit centres, cost centres, projects, WBS, accounts, activity rates, allocation cycles, data hierarchies etc) from requests provided by the business;
• Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems;

• Correct month end issues as they arise;

• Perform regular reviews of SAP master data to identify issues before they arise in the month end process;
• Troubleshoot finance data errors in SAP by working across Finance and ICT to find and implement suitable resolutions.

Your key skills should include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Information System or similar;
• Significant practical SAP Finance system knowledge;
• Hands-on experience in Master Data maintenance and Finance close procedures;
• Demonstrated skills at an advanced level with Microsoft Excel;
• Demonstrated experience building and managing internal relationships and collaboration with others to meet common goals and objectives.
