About the organisation:

Experis is partnering with an established and growing organisation within the healthcare and property sector. This organisation specialises in market-leading hospital, health, and life sciences properties, with over 15 years of experience in the region. They are now seeking a Systems Administrator to join the team and support the organisations global IT infrastructure from their Melbourne CBD office.

About the role:
Reporting into the Service Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of the technology environment. This is a hands on role that combines infrastructure management with end user support in a dynamic, mid-sized enterprise environment. This role ensures enterprise systems are secure, reliable and operating efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Systems & Infrastructure Administration - managing and maintaining enterprise infrastructure, including servers and operating systems

  • Platform & Service Management - administering enterprise platforms, including Microsoft 365 services and identity management tools

  • Infrastructure Improvements - assisting in the implementation of new systems, technologies, and security initiatives

  • End-User Support & Helpdesk Operations - first-line support and desktop support as needed

  • Documentation & Knowledge Management - creating and maintaining technical documentation for infrastructure systems and procedures
Key requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Experience administering Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025)
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra environments
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions (Intune, Workspace ONE, or similar)
  • Experience managing data centre infrastructure
  • Experience configuring and managing firewalls
