Senior Siebel Developer
Contract Opportunity | 12 Months + Extension | Hybrid Working
An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Siebel Developer to join a large scale, complex enterprise environment delivering critical systems. This role suits a senior level specialist who can provide strong technical leadership while hands on designing, developing and supporting Siebel solutions.
This is a long term contract with an initial 12 month term, with a 12 month extension option.

The Role
As a Senior Siebel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting end to end Siebel solutions while ensuring best practice standards are met. You will work closely with project managers, architects, operations and wider technology teams to deliver high quality outcomes.
You will also play a key role in mentoring internal staff and contributing to continuous improvement across the Siebel platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse functional designs and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, develop and unit test Siebel solutions in line with best practices
- Build Siebel integrations using business services, workflows, integration objects, XML and web services
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including design, data model and unit test artefacts
- Conduct peer reviews of code and unit test scripts
- Identify and manage risks, issues and improvement opportunities
- Mentor and transfer technical and corporate knowledge to permanent staff
- Collaborate closely with project, architecture and operations teams
- Participate in daily stand ups and provide regular progress updates
- Support testing and warranty phases including defect triage and resolution
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum five years experience as a Siebel Developer
- Proven experience designing and delivering end to end Siebel integration solutions
- Strong understanding of Siebel EAI components for performance and scalability
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to produce high quality technical documentation and unit test specifications
- Demonstrated commitment to quality delivery and continuous learning
Desirable Experience
- Siebel 8 Certification
- Experience with Siebel IP20 or later and workspace based development
- Advanced debugging expertise including SARM and FDR analysis
- Siebel EIM and data migration experience
- BIP report development
- Open UI experience
Technical Skills
- Siebel Tools and Siebel Client
- Oracle SQL Developer
- SOAP UI
- Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Visio
- CI CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Splunk

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
