Key duties and responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex ICT projects using MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile methodologies
- Manage project risks, issues, scope, financials, and quality
- Coordinate technical and business resources to meet project milestones
- Monitor delivery progress across all project phases ensuring quality and governance compliance
- Drive procurement and vendor management activities
- Lead change management and stakeholder engagement across the agency
- Prepare project documentation, reporting packs, business cases, and investment proposals
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to team members
Experience required
- Experience in successfully leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver large and complex ICT projects to deadline, using drive and initiative while responding flexibly to change and uncertainty.
- Understanding and experiencing working on technology and/or data projects and modelling and mentoring the adoption of best practice system development (preferably Agile) and project management methodologies.
