Our client offers one of the best working environments in the FinTech world today.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Java Engineer to work on a truly enterprise transformation. In addition to your technical strengths, you will also be a solid communicator with well developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to work seamlessly with both business stakeholders and the rest of IT.

To be considered we are seeking:

• Significant experience in Java / REST / Microservices
• Proven experience in building back-end services and API's
• Experienced with modern development technology such as Java, Go, Kotlin, NodeJS, and JavaScript/React (not all required here)
• Strong knowledge of Cloud and CI/CD practices
• Familiarity and comfort in building a full scale system from scratch through to production and the ability to manage technical platforms and associated systems.
• Strong communications and the ability to partner with business stakeholders as well as IT.
• Previous experience in mentoring members of the team would be beneficial also.

This is an intial 6 months contract with view of extension.
