Location: Parramatta

Contract Term: Initial 3 Month Contract

As a Scrum Master you will be acting as the process coach and facilitator for applications delivery teams. You will be responsible for:

• Work closely with the Product Owner and team to evolve the product backlog for upcoming sprint cycles.
• Ensuring that team members are consistently delivering stories in the sprint in the order of priority and business value set by the product owner
• Responsible for facilitating scrum ceremonies including daily stand-up, sprint planning, review and retrospective meetings
• Shield the team from external interference and over commitment in a sprint.
• Generate metrics to track and improve the performance and quality of the team

To be successful in this role you must have experience in:

• Leading scrum master activities in large banking/financial organisations.

• Guiding the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices

• Coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable for the team and organisation

• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments

• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on problem solving.

• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information

• Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

• Providing all support to the team
