Job Title: SAP MM Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our NSW Government client. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in SAP MM consulting with a focus on full life cycle implementations. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the successful implementation and management of SAP MM, particularly in the context of S/4 HANA.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Proven SAP MM Expertise: A history of successfully implementing SAP MM in various projects, demonstrating expertise in full life cycle implementations.

• S/4 HANA Experience: Proficiency in implementing SAP MM, with a preference for experience in the S/4 HANA environment.

• ReadSoft Knowledge: Familiarity with ReadSoft is desirable.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Confidence in working closely with business stakeholders, and strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Innovative Problem Solving: Proactive and able to think creatively to find solutions beyond the conventional approaches.

• Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within teams to develop and execute plans, programs, and solutions.

• Technology Lifecycle Management: Experience in managing the technology life cycle, support models, strategies, and roadmaps.

• Data Expertise: Proficiency in data migration across MM/SD objects, data mapping, and data validation.

• Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between legacy and target solution designs and processes, including WRICEF (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms). Investigate gaps and provide recommendations for resolution.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Taxonomy Mapping: Conduct configuration mapping of legacy systems to the target system and identify variations that may require custom development.

• High-Priority Solution Support: Assist the business in addressing high-priority solution gaps.

• Data Mapping: Collaborate with the Data and Business teams to identify and create mapping files for data loading when the extract is not suitable for the purpose.

• Data Validation: Validate post-load data before seeking confirmation from the business.

• Defect Resolution: Address and fix defects, then retest to ensure quality.

• Testing Support: Work with the Test team to identify and create test scenarios for various test phases.

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist the business in the UAT process to ensure that the solution meets user requirements.

• Daily Updates: Attend daily stand-up meetings and provide the latest updates and next steps.

• Documentation Review: Review Business Process and Solution design documents and present them in the governance forum for approval.

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to address any interdependencies and ensure seamless project execution.
