Our reputable Federal Government Agency client is on the hunt for multiple IT Security Advisor/Assessors to join their Canberra team for a 6 month contract, plus possible extensions.

Within the Department's ICT security environment, you'll undertake various duties, including:

• Provision of advice as it relates to the planning and implementation of security and infrastructure related projects;
• Development of solutions and patterns that are re-useable, repeatable and fit for purpose;
• Threat Risk Assessments of new systems and applications;
• Development and implementation of modular automation artefacts that can be re-used in future application deployments;
• Ongoing management of business as usual (BAU) tasks including, but not limited to, security advice, travel advice, investigations and freedom of information requests;
• Ongoing review of existing solutions and identification of opportunities for improvement;
• Creation of policies as well as reviewing / updating them; and
• Creation of reports on Essential 8 compliance and BAU ad hoc advice.

Please note, due to the nature of work, you must hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
