ManpowerGroup is actively engaged with a Federal Government department that is now looking for a dedicated EL1 Governance Lead to join their organisation. This person's focus is to lead development, management and delivery of Agency corporate governance products, services, and systems, ensuring compliance with legislative obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on policy, complex problem solving and issues management for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide subject matter expertise and support senior team members and operational work areas
• Undertake work activities with an awareness of their possible impact on strategic, political, or operational outcomes for the Agency
• Developing and maintaining a stakeholder engagement plan to effectively organise community events such as connect-a-thons and developer education

About you

• Extensive experience in leading the design and implementation of compliance and reporting frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work autonomously and to work on collaborative projects
• Extensive experience engaging with external and internal stakeholders.
