Our client is searching for a Demand and Capacity Specialist on an initial six month contract (with further view to extend).

The ideal candidate will have a background across End User Services and Networks but some cloud environment exposure is beneficial.

Duties:

• Assist with the capture, analysis and documentation of business demand for services offered by IT Service Delivery (i.e. hosting, network, end user).
• Create, maintain and populate demand models for services and assets from business events, project requirements, requests, and organic growth.
• Develop and maintain aggregated demand forecasts.
• Review capacity monitoring and planning performed by suppliers and assist with the preparation of aggregated forward looking capacity plans.
• Work closely with the Service Portfolio teams to monitor actual capacity usage versus targets and asset utilisation.
• Identify and escalate potential shortfalls and provide input to Service Strategy and Lifecycle Plans developed by the Service Portfolio teams.
• Review, analyse and align supplier capacity plans, and work with Service Delivery Management teams to validate that these are prepared according to contracted service levels.
• Create and maintain the demand and capacity management process documents (flow charts, roles and responsibilities, knowledge articles, etc.).
