Federal Government agency is looking for a Corporate Reporting Specialist to provide administrative support to the Corporate Reporting team within the Governance and Corporate Reporting Section.

The team is responsible for:

  • Coordinating preparation of Portfolio Budget Statements, Corporate Plan, Operational Plan and Annual Report including the annual performance statement.
  • Consultation and liaison for reporting activities across the agency including secretariat duties for the Planning and Reporting Committee.

The Duties and Tasks involved are:

  • Assist with the coordination of key planning and reporting documents including the corporate plan, annual report and annual performance statements
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across the agency to coordinate a range of complex information from multiple line areas
  • Assist with secretariat support for the Planning and Reporting Committee
  • Good proof reading of planning and reporting documents to ensure accuracy Required skills and Knowledge

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong communication skills who can liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including senior staff
  • The ability to prepare, review and update reporting documents and ensure they comply with regulatory practices
  • Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team/branch,
  • Proven ability to work independently, use good judgement and take responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing work with minimal supervision

This will be an initial 9 month contract and the successful candidate will need to have a police check completed before commencement.
