ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Automation Engineer to support the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing management of a large-scale multi-cloud environment (Azure & AWS).
This role is critical in designing, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. You'll work as part of a collaborative cloud platforms team, contributing to the evolution of modern cloud services and supporting end users across a complex enterprise environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain automated solutions for cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Implement best practices across cloud security, compliance, and cost optimisation
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as:
- Bicep
- ARM Templates
- Azure PowerShell
- AWS CloudFormation
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and Git
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of cloud architectures, processes, and standards
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud environments to ensure performance and reliability
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, services, and industry trends
ABOUT YOU
You are a technically strong Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience across Azure and/or AWS environments. You thrive in collaborative settings and are passionate about automation, cloud innovation, and continuous improvement.
Your skills and experience include:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer (Azure, AWS, or Multi-Cloud)
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Bicep, ARM, Azure PowerShell, or CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
